My little brother Jason returned home from his mission while I was visiting family in Utah. He had been serving in the Italy Catania mission for two years. Everyone was so excited to see him again. I was especially excited because Kayla had grown up so much and he had yet to meet Tessa. His plane got in at 10:00 p.m. so I had to wake the girls up so we could drive up to the airport. Kayla was just a baby when Jason left, but she loved him so much. She would always get the biggest smile when she saw him. She had heard a lot about him over the last two years, but obviously didn't remember him. She was a little shy when she first saw him, but she warmed up over time.

We didn't see Brandon for four weeks because he had to go back to Iowa for school. Tessa changed a lot in those weeks. She learned to crawl, clap and got 6 teeth!
We finally came back to Iowa on Feb. 6th after being gone for 7 weeks. The girls were so excited to see their dad. They could get enough of him and he couldn't get enough of them.
